Dark Days

After a short hiatus, I'm excited to get back in the swing of photography. I can't think of a better way to
kick it off than Lucy's photoshoot session. In the process of editing the images, her photos are a little on the dark side,
but they're turning out beautifully. I didn't have to do much of directing because she knew exactly what she was doing.
The unfortunate thing was the weatherman was right… it was extremely cold, but the fortunate thing was Lucy was so amazing
to work with and incredible in the midst of  this cold weather. She did an unbelievable job of pretending like she wasn't
absolutely freezing in the images. I had so much fun with her exploring some various parts of downtown Wheaton!

Photo Tour: Inside My Bedroom

This isn't the entire finish look of my bedroom. I thought I'd share what
I've done with it so far. I have yet to do tons more rearrangements; add in wall
decors, curtains, shelves, mirrors, rugs, etc. I have a few neat ideas in mind
so I'll be updating sometime soon when I finally have it all well put together!
Most of my things are from Ikea, Target and New Uses.

Noble's 1st Birthday!

Sorry about the mega late post! This should've been uploaded 5 months ago, haha.
May 4th to be exact. I was able to capture just a few photos at his birthday party. I still can't
believe how big Noble is getting! Can't wait for the many more birthdays to come.
Love you Nibbles! And thank you everyone who stopped by my blog! xx.

Lincoln is too adorable!

Caleb and Shaina

Cute, awkward and silly pretty much describes these two! My younger brother had asked
me to take photos of his homecoming photos and it was a pleasure! They were blushing and far too
adorable. I had a lot of fun taking as well as editing. It's been awhile since I've taken photos and
I'm glad I've started to get back into it. You'll be seeing more photography posts from me!
Thanks so much for visiting my blog from time to time. Truly means a lot!

Love you two! Hope you guys had a grand time! <3

DIY and OOTD

I'm so glad I crossed upon this DIY idea of making your own custom framed chalkboard. It was so
simple to make. All you need is a vintage frame (I got mine at a local thrift), chalkboard paint, steel wool
and paint rollers. Once you have all the materials, all you have left to do is evenly paint the surface of the
frame with however many coats you're satisfied with. I decided to do three coats just so it won't be too
thick. After the paint is dry, take your steel wool and lightly sand it. This is a cute way to write down
inspirational quotes, to do lists, reminders, etc and it looks great for your home decorations!

Oh and here's a quick outfit of the day as well. Summer is nearly coming to an end, but man I'm so
excited for the upcoming fall trends. What I have on here are botanical floral shorts from the thrift that cost
less than a dollar and I paired it with a very simple black shirt I found in my mom's closet!

Thanks for stopping by and I'll talk to you guys soon xx.

PS: Happy 20th Birthday Niall Horan, ilysm
